I came across this nursery some time ago and I immediately knew it’s going to my bookmarks! It’s no surprise I love to stare at pretty nurseries, but this one felt so very soothing and appealing that I thought to myself how amazing it would be if I get to have such calming space! All white and creamy this room is sure to teach a little one serenity. Oh, and the room has stripes – who doesn’t love them, right?
Baby time
So by now I’m sure you all know I’m about to have a baby (6 days until my due date!), right? And you also know I’m a lover of all things Scandinavian, don’t you? Now imagine these two together – a match made in heaven! I definitely like more the clean lines and simple color palettes of nurseries/baby stuff rather than cluttered and colorful ones (at least at the moment), so I was so excited to see a small collection of images on Est magazine’s blog which perfectly shows off my idea of a modern, cool, but warm and cozy baby environment.
Nursery inspiration
And I’m back with another baby-related post. I have been writing about baby clothes and sharing plenty of inspiration on my Pinterest board, so it’s the right time to share some nursery ideas. Lately I’m very much into elephants and I like everything that has an elephant on it, that’s why it made sense to me that the dream nursery for my baby will be elephant themed (aren’t they the cutest beings ever?!). So here it is the inspiration board, with all the sources:
1 – dresser, 2 – rug, 3 – elephant night lamp, 4 – wallpaper, 5 – crib, 6 – mobile, 7 – rocker, 8 – ottoman, 9 – apple poster, 10 – pear poster.
Have a great Tuesday! xo
Raspberry & aqua nursery
You know I’m a sucker for bright colors, don’t you? I can’t help myself when I see a good color duo done right, especially when it’s a nursery we’re speaking about (is there anything cuter than a stylish kid’s room?). So perhaps you’ve seen this one already, but I’ll anyway take the chance and share it with you. Done is raspberry and aqua blue, with an accent chevron wall this baby room feels airy and just perfect for a happy girl (not so sure about how would a little guy react when seeing pinks and reds ha!).
Nursery prints by Urban Tickle
I fell in love with these adorable nursery prints and wanted to share my find with you. Have you seen Urban Tickle‘s work? Heart melting and so perfect for a nursery/toddler room. They also have wall decals and stationery (baby announcements etc.) and each piece is cuter than the other :)
Coral & mint kind of week
Happy Monday, sweets! It’s a real spring here and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have so much sun and warm temperatures – I missed this SO much! And that’s why I’m utterly inspired by a color combination now – coral and mint! Truth is I always loved it, but the pastel shades of these two feel so feminine and modern now that I couldn’t resist but share my obsession with you. I found a pretty nursery decorated with mint and coral, take a look and tell me – what’s your favorite color combo this season?
I can’t get enough of coral and mint! And don’t even make me start on the fashion side of the two colors :)

Bright and colorful nursery
Happy Monday, sweets! I apologize for not posting last week, I needed some time to adjust to non-vacation days. I’m back now though, with more inspiration that will delight your eyes :). How have you been? Are you ready for spring (I so am!)?
Since we still have mostly gray days, some pop of color will cheer us all up, don’t you think? I stumbled upon this nursery in the last issue of La Petite magazine and couldn’t not share it with you – I had the moment (yet again) when I wished I lived in there, even though it’s a nursery :).
Design trend: Striped ceiling in a nursery
Is it only me or you also noticed that more and more designers and decorators when planning a nursery have a striped ceiling in there? I mean, I love stripes and I’ve proven it to you many times, but there’s just something I don’t get it: why striped ceiling in a nursery? Do babies feel happier when looking up and seeing stripes? Perhaps…If you have an idea why is this trend settling in, please share it with me, I’m VERY curious to know :)
Allegra’s nursery
I first saw this beautiful nursery is the latest issue of Adore magazine, but I didn’t have enough pictures for a blog post, so I just put the idea away, not forgetting about it for sure! And then I spotted this nursery on the blog from where it actually comes from, Tied with a Bouw – the ramblings of Sonja who lives in Kuala Lumpur with her husband and her newborn adorable baby girl, with the cutest name ever – Allegra (I love it!). I was happy to see Allegra’s nursery again and this time I couldn’t help, but share it with you. Talk about baby fever :).
Penelope’s room
Hello everyone! I had through my bookmarks a lovely blog post which I’m gonna share with you right now! It’s about the adorable room of Penelope, the sweet girl of Melissa – blogger behind ISLY (I Still Love You). The room is so full of sunshine, with all the popping yellow in there. It literally makes me happy just looking at it and I thought that Penelope’s room is definitely worth your attention! For the detailed description of the decorating process, check Melissa’s post about it, I’ll just share some pictures with you, hoping to bring little sunshine into your day!
