The image I came across today is STUNNING and I needed to share it with you! You guys will be amazed by the colors you’ll see and not because of an abundance of colors, but by a subtle yet contrasting combo of two shades. I’m speechless!
OMG! Normally I’d never think about combining these two colors, but the way they look here together is just fantastic, beyond words! I think the combo is BRILLIANT! P.S. This kitchen is pretty fabulous too, right (besides colors)? What do you think?

This post is inspired by the blog makeover of Will! No kidding. I love that place for its content and for the awesome blogger behind it. If you don’t know it yet, you definitely don’t live on our planet! Back to Will’s blog, recently it got a face lift and it looks even more fabulous! The colors that have been used are aqua & orange and I just couldn’t walk away without noticing how delicious this combo looks! So I thought that it deserves a color+inspiration post, but then you’ll be surprised again, because it’s not the traditional c+i post, it’s inspired by an adorable party theme, thrown for a 7-years-old boy. You get the point, right?

And we met again, my friends! After yesterday’s news I understood even better how important is to have you all and how much your support means to me, I can only be eternally grateful for all the tweets on Twitter and comments and thank God I’m blessed to have so amazing readers! On another note, today on creamylife’s Facebook page I posted this picture which inspired me to write my today’s post, asking if you can guess what is it about. And I got suggestions, though nobody guessed that I was smitten by the lovely, live color combo on the package which afterward guided me to put together this color+inspiration post. So now I’m absolutely in love with coral and green in all their shades (from pinky to peachy coral to mint, apple to pale green – no limits!) and if the below pictures feel too chaotically chosen, think better about the abundance of color ideas you can get!

First of all, I’d like to thank you all for the kind comments you’re leaving on creamylife, I can’t even start describing what do they mean to me and how much I appreciate you for taking the time to write them! I read all of them and every single of them makes me ultra-happy! Huge thank you!
Now I want to share with you a moment of happiness, some days ago I got the first reader’s question! Theodora asked for some advice on how to decorate her bedroom, which will be cream, purple & golden (three golden walls+one purple, cream window borders, brown furniture and so on). After reading Theodora’s bedroom description I imagined that already having lots of golden, the bedroom should have a cream ceiling, to brighten up the room and purple accessories, such as drapes, lamps and flowers, for example – for the perfect amount of simplicity yet chicness. I made up an inspiration board which will show what I mean:

Hi everyone! Chocolate brown is an absolute favorite of mine as you may recall, so I was wondering how will it look if paired with white? And the combo didn’t disappoint me at all! The brown, being an earthy, natural color calls for warmth and friendliness in a space, it’s inviting and makes the room be so peaceful. Unlike white, which is a crispy, neat and sort of a cold color and when combined with chocolate brown the result you get is a modern, light and stylish yet very inviting room. No surprise chocolate brown & white are used together for decorating bedrooms the most, but definitely they’re having the same effect in every other room and here are some proofs:

You know how big is my obsession with colors, don’t you? My color+inspiration category makes me happy whenever I take a look at it, so today I put together another post related to it. Only that today, not one color is involved, but more of them and let’s just call this color rainbow (yes, the seven colors of it can work great if used all together and will be as if they’re only one color)! Plus, we all seek joyful shades of the color spectrum to complete our summer-y feeling and what other than the rainbow will do this job the best?

Hey everyone! I must admit that I’ve been having my eyes on the beautiful color combination yellow & gray for quite a long time and still, never put together a color inspiration post featuring this combo. Small intro: Anna of In honor of design asked our opinion about a new header for her blog (we needed to choose one of three designs), the first design was created with yellow & gray colors and I was smitten by the simplicity and elegance of it! The muted shades of both these colors are such a well balanced mix, perfectly completing each other and creating the feeling of aesthetic charm and sense of style. Of course I voted for the first design Anna had to choose from, but I couldn’t stop thinking about this combination. So yesterday I browsed all the possible sites on the Internet and I found some gorgeous rooms (and not only) decorated with yellow & gray:

A color inspiration post made up especially for the upcoming 4th of July! And although I’m not living in USA and this holiday isn’t supposed to concern me, it does, because I’m happy for all my friends-bloggers living in the US, who will have a 3-days weekend this time, who’ll enjoy plenty of ice cream, BBQ, laughter and moments that make this life worth it! I’ve discovered my crush for peacock blue color not so long time ago…alright it happened yesterday! But my love affair with this color is pretty big which makes it up for the short time, isn’t it how’s this working? However it is, I love this intense shade of blue and I think it creates a ravishing effect when combined with colors like white, beige, cream and everything that’s light. This will make for a modern, refreshing look, but just in case you’d like to give a royal feeling to your space, then a peacock blue combined with black, brown and all these darker colors is what you might need. Over this weekend, I’ve got some color inspiration, it came out of the blue and guess what, these ideas I appreciate the most! So I somehow felt that I’m inspired by olive green and particularly by a warmer, little brighter shade of olive green. It shows so much style and contemporaneity, doesn’t it? Also, I think this color is killer when combined with a crispy white, a bright mix with a modern twist is guaranteed! So, I created a mood board for a potential olive green living room, but I also have some inspirational pictures for you, in case you’d consider using this color for your home. Enjoy!
