Terrariums (or vivariums according to wikipedia) are my new crush. Especially loving terrariums with succulents planted in, they just feel so stylish accessory for a home! It’s not your average plant, it’s a terrarium and you have the freedom to choose the container for building it, its size and shape. Now imagine the multitude of glass containers out there and the amazing impact terrariums can have on your home. And although terrariums are meant to help science, nowadays they can be a gorgeous home decoration, an easy DIY project and a result of your creativity. Here are some inspiring ideas of terrariums, as well as a DIY project I want to share with you. By the way, I’m seriously considering making a terrarium myself and hoping that you’ll be inspired to make one as well!

Oh my!!! You’ll not believe what I just spotted – Maya Lee photography! Maya Lee (Lotta) is a Sweden-based photographer, loving to sew, paint, crochet, draw and of course take pictures! I slowly died while checking her portfolio! Not beautiful – stunning pictures! I didn’t see that gorgeousness in a while now! Absolutely everything is pure magic: the colors, the ambiance and last, but not least Lotta’s talent! When I grow up I wanna be like Maya Lee! And I’d like to hang just every picture taken by Lotta in my home, every.single.one! And I’ll also take all those flowers, please! You should visit Maya Lee’s site, blog, Etsy shop – you don’t want to miss some blissful moments of joy (that’s what you’ll feel while looking at Lotta’s photography, guaranteed)!

Hi there! Hope your day is going well, I want to share with you now some beauties! And again Etsy – this time a seller who is a floral designer, creating bouquets and arrangements using faux flowers! But her designs are so beautiful that I’d be happy to sacrifice a fresh bouquet for a faux arrangement, seriously! Flores del sol (name of the Etsy shop) is owned by a full-time young mother and designer and lovelies, trust me, her creations are adorable, so modern and fresh which would make for a beautiful centerpiece that you can use over and over again! Here are a few of them:

How sweet is this picture? My friend Nastya sent it over my way and I couldn’t resist, I needed to share it with you! You know how much I love flowers and colors! And then she told me that the image is related to Victoria’s Secret, how could I not show it to you?!

Hello everyone! Spring has finally settled down here, trees and flowers are blooming, so no surprise I’m in the flower-ish mood again! As I said, these days I see flowers everywhere, but this fact didn’t stop me to think how to bring and incorporate the floral pattern into a home. It’s definitely better and nicer to have fresh arrangements just in every corner of your home, but hey! more flowers – more romantic the atmosphere! And I always say that there are never too many flowers in a home, whether fresh or faux. So, I was ransacking today and found couple beautiful ways how to bring the florals in your space:
Wall decals – a modern way of decorating your home with flowers, without overwhelming it:

I just caught myself thinking that I didn’t post anything about flowers so long time! And you know how much I love them! I’m fixing this right now! :). I had through my bookmarks a site and studio at once which is making and teaching floral design in Brooklyn, New York and it’s called Nicolette Camille. I remember I took a look once at their site and felt so jealous and happy the same time! I mean on one hand, I’m really happy there are such talented people who create magical floral arrangements, but on the other hand I was kind of jealous: why can’t I?! Actually, I’m sure I can, with little practice! So, FYI, if you’re in Brooklyn or somewhere near and you want to learn about flowers, visit “Flower School with Sarah and Nicolette“, you won’t regret!

Hello, my friends! I hope you’re enjoying the long weekend this time (4 days isn’t that short time). I’m suppose to relax too, but not today. Plans have changed a little and today I’ll be blogging like usually :). The first thing I’ll blog about is a fabulous store and blog named Emersonmade. I bet they’re not a secret for all of you as Emersonmade has a strong built reputation based on what they’re doing: creating hand stitched blooms and accessories for different events. Flowers for shoes, bridal collection, flowers for bridesmaids dresses and much more is their field! And it’s gorgeous! I saw their work long time ago, but again, didn’t get to blog about them so now I thought I just must!
P.S. And they have a duck (!) as a pet! How cute is that?
