Home Tour: Anne Hepfer

Anne Hepfer is a very known and popular designer in Toronto, Canada. Anne lives in a 1933 Georgian home, formerly owned by Prime Minister John Turner. She re-designed the home and now every room has its own, different than the others color and each of them says its own story. Having 2 adorable baby twins, Anne manages to keep the warmth and the inviting atmosphere in there and I say that her home is worth a 10!!! Here are the images:

Home Tour of the “Charming Villa”

Hello everyone! Today I’m little late with posting, I was busy arranging the flowers I bought in the morning :). And I’ll start this beautiful spring day with the home tour of Danish stylist and writer Katrine Martensen-Larsen. Her home in Frederiksberg was built in 1911, but redesigned by Katrine and her family: husband and 5 children. Sounds incredible  how somebody can decorate a home for 7 people of different ages and still don’t loose its mind, right? Anyways, I liked the villa very much! The black and white wallpaper in the living room cheers up a bit the neutral colors that dominate in the home. Also, the kids’ room is very adorable and sweet! Please take a look:

Shabby Chic

Hello, my dears! How was your Easter? Did you go Egg hunting? My holiday was pretty much fun, day with family, evening in a cafe on a boat. Today outside is cloudy and cold, I’m at home and although I said “See you on Tuesday” I thought it’s enough being apart from all of you, so here I am :). My week started with Elle Dekor Serbia and now I’ll blog about a home featured in the magazine decorated in shabby chic. If to be straight with you, I didn’t know this style exists until now, but after I saw the pictures of the home of interior designer Alma Muzurović-Šimunović from Croatia, I fell in love! Oh well, I guess my future home has the chance to be decorated in shabby chic, as my love for modern country doesn’t seem to be so big anymore ;).

White Dream in Copenhagen

It’s not a secret that I have a crush on white color and especially white interiors, right? Yesterday, while reading through different blogs I stumbled upon a very white home, decorated with modern style and for me it seemed such a neat and inspiring place, I wanted to move in there right away :). Thanks to Emma of Emma’s designblogg for featuring the home of the Danish designer Nina Kejser and and her husband!

Hello once again, friends! Hope you had a great start of the week! I would like to share with you now a home that certainly completes my list of my dream homes. Decorated with white, it seems so perfect, I adore both the design and details of the home. Take a look:

Home Tour: Janell Beals

Another home which I truly like and day dream about belongs to Janell Beals, author of Isabella and Max rooms, who was really nice to allow me blog about her great DIY-ed home. The thing is that the very talented Janell designs her home according to her family members’ needs. For example, after having an interview with her son (how cute is that?), Janell understood what does he want and guess what, the little man now has a chalkboard stripe on the walls so he can write there and a huge painted map (which is still in process of being done). Are you intrigued? Here it is:

She is loving everything white and now she’s living in a beautiful home, decorated (by herself) in white color range, with some popping colors that make it look so, so special and cozy! She has one of few homes I really enjoyed and liked, and her home definitely goes to my must-see category!

There is never too much Light…

Daylight, sunlight or something related to light. I’m loving interiors with big windows and white-creamy-pearl colors. Alright, the list of my favorite  light colors it’s longer, so I just mentioned the short version. And the trick I’ve learned is that if you want an apartment that looks so much light, use the colors from the light white spectrum and you won’t fail! Plus, I know that if you have a small apartment, you will make it look way bigger only if you paint your walls in white :). Easy, isn’t it? Here are some images of a really light space, designed by Sara Gilbane, a very talented interior designer. Enjoy!

Fresh and Bright Kitchen…

…which belongs to Kate of Centsational Girl. Remember her, right? She’s a passionate DIY-er and no surprise that she renovated her kitchen by herself. This place looks amazing, so much light, so cozy design, I bet now the kitchen is Kate’s favorite place in the house. Check out the pictures:
