You know I’m a sucker for bright colors, don’t you? I can’t help myself when I see a good color duo done right, especially when it’s a nursery we’re speaking about (is there anything cuter than a stylish kid’s room?). So perhaps you’ve seen this one already, but I’ll anyway take the chance and share it with you. Done is raspberry and aqua blue, with an accent chevron wall this baby room feels airy and just perfect for a happy girl (not so sure about how would a little guy react when seeing pinks and reds ha!).
Do you dare?
Ok, I know the title is too dramatic, but who cares when this is exactly what I want to ask you – do you dare going bold color/pattern-wise when it comes to decorating? Do you dare painting your ceiling, staircase, front door the fun and not the traditional way? Although I keep posting about all these colorful interiors I’m not sure I would dare doing it in my home, you know what I mean? So that’s why I’m asking you – would you do it or you’re like me – a passive witness of how other people have the guts to be different (oh, that was so dramatic again!) :)?
Washi tape chic
Hi all! Welcome to a new week, I hope you stepped in with the right foot :). I have to confess something, I’m a total sucker for washi tape – you know, that adorable Japanese sticky tape that comes in a billion colors and patterns? Well, I find that tape genius as you can decorate with it in so many ways with so little effort/money needed! Seriously, I saw people using masking tape for creating wall art, inspiration boards and more, but decorating kitchen utensils – it was new to me. That’s why I wanted to share with you this idea, who knows – you might like it ;)
Isn’t this cute too? With a few $ you can add a fresh twist to your kitchen. Or bedroom. Or living room :). Let your creativity take over!

Weekend {in the shades of green}
Happy Friday, friends! We made it and there are just a few hours left until the weekend we’re all waiting for (finally some relaxation time, right?). So to honor this glorious day, I’m loving green – a glorious color that’s timeless, modern and beyond refreshing in an interior! I’m especially drawn to kelly green, but all the other shades are pretty cool too and they look great in any room – kitchen, living room, entryway (proof below):
Wind & Willow Home collection
I know I wrote a post on the dipped trend a couple of weeks back, but now let’s just say the focus isn’t on anything dipped, ok? Instead I want to introduce you to a lovely collection of wooden bowls, spoons, cups etc. All handmade, all adorable! I found on Etsy this shop that had too cute stuff to leave it aside. Plus it shows two of the current mega-trends: neon colors and dipped – in this case it’s a match made in heaven. I’m sure you’ll love it!
Ombre trend
Continuing with my trend reporting, here’s another one that is done by everyone and their mother – ombre. Frankly, I got enough of it and am so ready to see it fade, but I guess it won’t happen very soon as with every day the ombre trend is more and more popular (fashion, interior design, cake art etc.). It’s not that I don’t like the ombre look – I do, but I also think that the world is full of creative trendsetters and they can already come up with something new – my humble suggestion to style geniuses out there.
Elephant ceramics
Happy Monday, friends! I’m back from a creative block (you know, when you’re unable to come up with a decent post?) and I hope inspiration will stick around for a while. Many things happened during my absence, many finds that caught my eye, many ideas I want to blog about, like for example ceramics. I feel like ceramic items are the comfiest yet edgy-modern approach a table setting might get. The natural look with a pop of color is the best way to decorate your summer outdoor table. I’m loving these adorable plates from Elephant ceramics – the color palette is to die for!
Breakfast in the countryside
I wish my breakfasts would be so attractive and chic, with fresh blooms, coffee, pancakes and orange juice. Oh and the outdoor setting is a must too, with greenery all around and crisp morning air to wish me a great day. Sigh, daydreaming.
Simple color palette
Sometimes you just need natural colors in your life, right? I’m having some kind of color fevers – one day I’m head over heels for bright palettes, other days I crave simple shades of black, white, gray. I’m guessing it’s a normal thing, people change, as well as their styles and aesthetics. Does this happen to you (because it happens to me quite regularly)?
