That’s me being creative right now. In fact, I want to take you to a dream, where there are only butterflies flying around, making you happy and joyful (being creative again, ha)! What about decorating your home with butterflies? They represent the freedom, wisdom and happiness (according to different mythologies), they’re one of a kind – each of them beautiful in their own way. I think they’d give to a space a special charm and a touch of innocence. I’m pretty sure that when I’ll have a baby girl, her room will be decorated in a butterfly theme (or at least have few butterflies here in there). But I also think that butterflies can be used as decorations in living rooms, grown-ups’ bedrooms – the atmosphere feels romantic when surrounded with butterflies, don’t you think so? Here are some inspirational pictures to help you understand what do you feel for butterfly decor:

You do remember the post from few days ago about the crush that I have for prints, right? Like every crush of mine it happened out of the blue, I was getting inspiration on Etsy when I saw a very sweet shop there called My Sweet Prints. Perhaps you guessed, prints for nurseries and baby-related! Aw, seriously how something can be sweeter than this? I melted instantly! Please take a look and tell I’m not crazy! Can you tell the baby fever has taken domination over me again?

Somebody can wonder why a kid needs a modern room? I hope this post will answer this question. We live in the 21st century when absolutely everything gets rid of the traditional look, putting on a whimsical modern appeal. So does a kid’s room. Nowadays kid’s room need few, but so important details such as: space, functionality and let’s say it aloud – to be cool! To show their friends the brand new computer or the girly stylish built-in wardrobe! And while I’m totally against the over-estimated pride the wealthy kids may (it’s not an affirmation) have (we’re all people and we’re the same), I can now tell you that everyone can transform their son’s or daughter’s room without many efforts or expenses (that is another post already!). For now, here is some inspiration how does a modern kid’s room look:

Another guest post here on CreamyLife by the wonderful co-author of my blog (yeah, I can say that!) – Nastya! She also is the author of the first guest post, in case you missed it you can read it here. Today the very creative Nastya is inspired by rugs. Let’s take a look at what she says:
“Hello everyone!
It took time for me to reappear, but I’m extremely happy to share something that’s on my mind with you, dear Ludmila and Creamy Life readers! Lately there’s so much on the Internet about the rugs, especially those modern ones. As for me, I love rugs and consider them to be an important part of any interior. I just don’t imagine an apartment or a house without any rugs! It makes every room nicer and cozier, not to mention the fact that they provide warmth on a bare floor and help to reduce noise. So here are some of my favorite examples:

Some time ago, while shopping in a clothing store, I saw IT. A wallpaper with names of cities printed on it. I thought it was gorgeous, but unfortunately I didn’t have my magic camera to shot that view and I couldn’t find inspirational images on the Internet to share with you. Oh wait, I did find one and it looks the same cute and extraordinary!
*I forgot where did I find this image, if you know – please tell me. Thank you!
On this wallpaper there are printed a lot of sport activities, such as golf, football, polo and so on. It’s still wonderful, so perfect for a teenager-boy’s room!
What do you think?

For this blog post I chose the bluest blue. Somebody calls it dark blue, others call it ‘blue moon’ – I say this is the ‘under the blue sky’ color. Just sounds cuter to me ;). This blue is perhaps dark (it is a bit) and it won’t work so good for a space which doesn’t have lots of light, but it will certainly look gorgeous in a room with big windows, where there is constantly sunlight! I guess the blue from these light rooms will really create the feeling of the sky in there and with some nice, cloudy wallpaper will make you float and feel you’re in the air. Just perfect for a nursery!!!

Hi everyone! How are you today? I can’t wait for the weekend, so I’m happy we’re at Wednesday now. First thing I’m gonna blog about today is a shop and design studio I stumbled upon few weeks ago. The owner of Decoylab, Maiko Kuzunishi, started her business by making decorative clocks from bamboo or paper, but now she has extended shop’s activity and she’s making posters, prints, pins etc. I love the clocks she’s making, they’re extremely sweet and they come in lots of colors, so great as you can choose the one you need. Decoylab Etsy shop and online portfolio made a perfect start of the day for me!
*Please note that most of the products are eco-friendly.

Polka dot is a really popular theme for a baby room or furniture. But, did you notice lately how polka dot is being used not only when related to kids?! And I admit that I get melted when seeing this. The look of a polka dot sofa is so innocent and cute, while showing off a challenge. I mean, come on, not everybody would dare to paint the bathroom floor in white and brown polka dots (see picture below). Whether I’m right or not, polka dots smell French (a bit) and it attracts somebody’s eye, doesn’t it?

I was always wondering myself why do very talented people prefer to keep their gorgeous works for themselves?! I know couple of them who are doing exactly this: one friend who’s building real ships on a smaller scale (see here), my MIL who is doing amazing hand embroidery just for pleasure (see here) and now one more great talented person, my SIL who’s enjoying a lot glass and wall painting! Just imagine this, handmade glass painting (!), how hard this should be? I want everybody to know about her incredible works, so here they are:
