I have some exciting news for all of you! Olioboard has announced a decorating contest where you can win $200 and the only thing you need to do is create a holiday moodboard on Olioboard (which is plenty of fun!). Here’s what Sheilah from Olioboard team says: “Olioboard has paired up with Lot 26 Studio to launch their Holiday decor Contest. Users are challenged to design a holiday inspired interior design moodboard with the chance of winning up to $200.00 in store credit. We are very excited to announce that Meredith Heron has happily accepted to judge this contest. Meredith is an amazing interior designer who has regularly been featured as a guest host and design expert on the TV show Restaurant Makeover.” The contest ends on December 23rd, click here to find out more about it. So what are you waiting for? Start having fun right away and you might be the winner! Here’s a moodboard I created with Olioboard and it took me about 10 minutes (yes, it’s that easy!).

Happy decorating! xoxo

Good morning, sweets! Will kick off this blogging day with the perfect image of how do I feel right now, so nothing smart or informative, just some pretty pictures in soft pink shades, because I’m a girl after all and feminine colors are right up my alley. It’s snowing outside, so everything feels so romantic and dreamy, I’ve lighted a candle and am enjoying some ‘me’ moments. Will be back later today with another post, meantime here is some soft pink bliss.

Alright, so I really am in a holiday mood and the only thing I want to do is holiday decorating and shopping. You too? Good, then this post will be helpful for both you and me. Earlier today I was virtually setting my Christmas table and it was very gold-and-glitter oriented, so let’s jump to the shopping part now, shall we? And what’s the best place to do it? Of course Anthropologie! That’s why I asked my friend Anthro Europe to help me put together a gift guide and imagine the joy when I found out they have quite tempting shipping details during holidays! All in all, a pretty good deal! Oh and also remember my post about Christmas decorations on Etsy? I think it’s worth your look too. Hope I helped a little :)
Please know that this is NOT a sponsored post which means Anthropologie didn’t pay me for writing it.

Hello, friends! Happy Monday! I’m back from my mini-vacation, ready for new challenges and lots of inspiration (by the way I missed your blogs so much!). With Christmas being just 12 days away (can you believe it?) it’s the right time to get in the holiday mood for real, if you still didn’t. I’m continuing with my virtual home and tree holiday decorating and if my Christmas tree was so non-traditional, with a fresh color scheme (see here), then I couldn’t resist keeping it all simple (or not) about my tabletop – sparkling gold with modern and glamorous touches. I’ve seen inspiring images in the latest Lonny (have you checked it yet? it’s a stunner!) and so I felt it’s the perfect direction for me this year! Here are some ideas:

When it comes to our homes we all try to bring in warmth and serenity, opting for calm colors, details which carry a valuable meaning and that close-to-our-heart atmosphere. Normally you’d think that in all this bliss barn doors have no place. May I say they do? Another trend with bigger and bigger impact is bringing outdoors inside. If you recall, that’s what happened with swing chairs and the other thing I could think of now are barn doors – wooden, worn off, whether perfectly painted in a glossy red or simply washed out white, you name it! One thing is clear, interior barn doors are firmly settling in as headboards, sliding doors or proper doors used as decor.

A while back I received two copies of the always stunning Elle Interior Norway (huge thank you for this!) and I thought I must share glimpses with you all. The magazines were absolutely gorgeous and inspiring and I’m so frustrated our Elle Dekor just can’t pull together a similar issue every month (remember they were doing quarterly? well, now the skipped winter issue, ugh). Nonetheless, here are some glamorous, Scandinavian inspired images with mainly black and white, which will surely feel like fresh air in your life at the moment, among all the Christmas-y colorful inspiration! Talk about Scandinavian Maximalism.

You guys know how talented are Serbians, right? However while checking back all the Serbian Made posts I noticed that one thing is on top of the list of local crafters and this is jewelry. And as much as I try to bring something new every week, I end up falling in love with another creative ‘handmaker’ who designs jewelry. That’s what happened now. While looking for another potential feature I came across Empress Design, owned by Zorana who works with plexiglass (something new around here) to bring to life the cutest earrings, the most stylish belts and the prettiest necklaces you could ever imagine! How could I possibly not fall in love? The best thing about plexiglass jewelry is that it’s not pricey at all and everybody can afford it, not to mention how stunning it looks as a statement piece! I totally recommend checking Empress Design (they have SO many items!), here I highlighted a few of them:

Hello everyone! TGIF, right? I don’t know how about you, but I for one am very happy it’s weekend and I get to spend some R&R time with my husband for the next two days (at least I hope for this). This week I’ve been absent a lot of time and believe me I’m feeling really bad because of this. I missed you all so much!
For the weekend I wanted to leave with a post about one lovely site which most likely you already know, Graham and Green. That is one gem of an online shop, people! Not only it’s so visually attractive, with a clean design and pretty colors, the styling of each product is beyond what you expect to see, it feels like they put all their stuff in one huge home and they’re shooting there every chair, side table or mirror in that respective room. Seriously, it’s a delight to browse Graham and Green shop! And wait to see their Christmas collection – a true winter wonderland!
