Design Trend: Wallpaper on one wall

I said trend because I’m seeing it more and more lately: painting the walls of the room, except one which will be wallpapered. And you know what, friends? The idea is fabulous and let me explain why (based on one example):

Serbian Made: Little Glory

Good morning, lovelies! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good, with Belgrade shopping night on Friday (which I call already weekend) and a sweet friend’s birthday party yesterday.  Now I’m excited about a new week and things to share you, my dears! Today is Monday and as my husband called it – it’s Serbian Monday (sounds good) and it means I will feature one more Serbian person who’s making handmade things. This time is about a very talented and sweet lady making jewelry, named Little Glory (nickname, real name – Slavica)! Prepare yourself for a dose of amazing stuff, I mean it! Hew jewelry is handmade from polymer clay, accessorized with decorative wires and stones. Wondering what is she making? Earrings, rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets and brooches – people, she is amazingly artful and skilled! We, girls, know what is jewelry for us, so imagine myself choosing pictures of Slavica’s work for my article – I was dying to have *every.single.piece* – I totally fell in love and I invite you now to see the beauty (a small part of it) made by Little Glory!

Decorating with mirrors

I love mirrors, don’t you? There is something mystical about them – 1. you see your own reflection, but  it’s like there are two different people or 2. they make a space look bigger! Imagine a mirror wall – that room is like endless! So besides the traditional sunburst mirror, they can be used in more ways and that’s what I’m gonna show you now.

Have you seen mirror tiles on a wall? Looks fantastic! Not overwhelming at all!

“Sweet Candy” Wedding

Lovelies, it’s Friday!!! Weekend is almost here and what would be a better post than a gorgeous candy wedding  shoot (long time without wedding ideas on CreamyLife, huh?)? I came across the beautiful event on Hostess with the Mostess and I just *needed* to share it with you! Seriously, I have NEVER seen more colorful wedding theme! Absolutely everything there has a sweet taste: the bride & groom, bridal bouquet (made of rock candy swizzle sticks!), a candy ring and more! Here are the pictures:

Interior Stylist Lotta Agaton

Another Swedish talented artist of interior design is Lotta Agaton. After working several years as a managing editor for the Swedish magazine Residence, Lotta started her career as a freelancer working with clients both in Sweden and abroad. You should definitely visit Lotta’s site and blog to her check  portfolio (it’s in Swedish, but it can be easily translated into English). I like how she is playing with the styles, adding to a dramatic room a touch of romance – impressing to me as I always thought mixing styles isn’t *that* easy! Here’s is what I highlighted from the amazing portfolio of Lotta Agaton!

LAMA Design

Hey there! I’m going to introduce to you now a gorgeous shop named LAMA Design! The girl behind this shop (and blog) put a big smile on my face! I just read her ‘about‘ page and must admit I didn’t read a bio funnier than this! “She must be very creative and easy-going” I thought and headed to the gallery of products she’s selling. And I don’t regret at all! Everything is so full of passion, colors and Latin! The owner of LAMA moved from San Francisco to Latin America to find  artisanal inspiration and bring it to the rest of the world through her online shop. Please take a look at these hotties:

Keep It Open

Good morning, lovelies! Do you know what I’m loving today? Open shelving in the kitchen! I think this is such a great idea, modern and cost-effective (dare to try it as a DIY project?). In my dream kitchen I have *only* open shelves – to display my vintage dishes and glass jars, I bet this sounds great for everybody! The open shelves give the impression of wider, with more space which is a good trick if your kitchen isn’t that big! Plus it’s very neat and organized and will fill your kitchen with a cozy feeling – you’ll want to stay there forever! Here is some inspiration:

Melanie Acevedo Photography

Melanie Acevedo is a New York based photographer who discovered her love for photography while studying Illustration art in Paris. She says it was love at first sight and I could see this love in her portfolio. Seriously, I could feel the major excitement that contributed to the photo shooting! I hope this doesn’t sound funny, because I really mean it, it was the first time I felt this! Her portfolio is truly impressive and so is the list of her clients (which is more stunning than impressive). While checking the photo gallery on Melanie’s site I couldn’t help myself but smile and feel  the warmth of her photography – it made me so happy, you’ll understand what I mean when you see the pictures:
