Hi everyone! I must admit the place me & my husband are living now isn’t the home of my dreams, so I’m considering this an excuse to imagine and virtually decorate my dream home, including bedroom – which I think is a sacred place in a home as there we spend a third time of our lives while sleeping and I guess it’s very important to create a warm, relaxed atmosphere for sweet dreams. So, I’ve been visualizing yesterday how will my bedroom look like in my dream home. After flipping through pictures of beautiful spaces I figured that my bedroom is all about floral pattern, cozy blankets and colors (not surprising at all!). What it really IS surprising is that I showed to my husband a white & pink bedroom, asking ‘would you like to have this bedroom?’ (of course expecting a ‘no’), he said ‘yes, why not’. Hello, my husband won’t feel disturbed by a pink bedroom! You probably understood why I love him.

Call me lost or however you want, but yesterday I tried for the first time Polyvore! Liked it, because I found the perfect sister for Olioboard, only that one is for creating interior design boards and the other one is for fashion boards. So I registered on Polyvore and started conquering the world of fashion through that site. I pretty much liked it, so I decided that, since there is no fashion on creamylife, I’ll bring some. Every month, starting with July I’ll create style boards with an outfit I’ll consider inspiring for the period – monthly style board. This way you can get to know my fashion tastes and style and maybe you’ll even like it! For now, I made up a style board just for fun and would be called “Summer party” outfit:

Good morning, dears! Happy Monday! Oh, I should probably say happy Serbian Monday as I have another talented feature for you! Today it’s all about headbands, hairpins, bobby pins and everything your hair would need eventually or with other words Mašnarija (pronounce mashnaria) and the ladies behind this Nevena & Marija. I loved right away what the girls are doing and couldn’t be more thrilled when they accepted to be featured on creamylife, I’m so honored! One more reason to love them is because they’ve founded this little shop in 2010, February 28th – right on my birthday! Such a nice coincidence! Now let’s see what do these ladies say about themselves:
“Mašnarija by Nevena & Marija was founded on February 28. this year. Mašnarija’s members are two sisters from Belgrade Nevena & Marija. Marija, the older sister is a graduate actress and Nevena, the younger one is a student of Italian language at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. Mašnarija started by accident as a hobby. Now it’s a small workshop for headbands, hairpins, bobby pins, badges and all accessories for hair. It has it’s own site – Masnarija.com where people can see all our products in one. There is a Facebook profile Mašnarija Nevena Marija as well and a Facebook page Mašnarija where people can buy our stuff. Mašnarija is a very strange word. It doesn’t exist in any dictionary or anyone uses it when speaking. It means something between bow and imagination. Bowmagination :)
Mašnarija is situated in our home. We still do not have our studio for it. But in the future we hope our imagination & bows will bring us a very cute little art studio where we could make our own dreams come true!”
Such a touching introduction the sweet girls made up for us! Now let’s see what are they creating and why do people love them so much (and they really adore Nevena & Marija!)

Being a girly girl (yes, I am!) I love pink! So the home I came across over at Jen’s blog made my heart skip a beat. It’s decorated in ALL hot pink, with some white and it seems just the place of my dreams. But no, I definitely wouldn’t use that much pink for my home, as much as I love the color. Does this make me less girly? Hm…However, I wanted to show this home to you and ask if you’d dare to paint your home in this hot pink? Married ladies, I’d like to see your opinions as well :).

I’m sure you noticed the tendency of bringing to design trend world old pieces whether it’s about furniture, clothing or accessories. We usually say that new is the well-known old. So this is what happened to the butterfly chair. I’ve been thinking to write about it awhile now, so today finally I decided to see what is with this chair and why did it return to the world of design. About the past of the butterfly chair: it was designed by the Argentinian architect Jorge Ferrari Hardoy, together with Antonio Bonet and Juan Kurchan in 1938-1939 while working in Buenos Aires for Grupo Austral. This chair is also known as BKF chair (after its designers’ last names). Nowadays, the butterfly chair kept the design though it’s available in leather of different colors or cow hide. It works great for any indoor room, as well as outdoor area. Here are some inspiring pictures:
