Look what I just found in my inspirational folder! How lovely is this living room? So relaxed and comfortable! No doubt it makes me want be right there, with my stack of magazines! And the mini-armchairs and ottoman on the side table? So sweet!
Home Tour: Stylist Irina Graewe
Hi everyone! Do you remember Irina Graewe and her work, which I blogged about back in April? All the bold colors and retro looking interiors? Remembered? Good. Well I have a surprise for you: Irina’s home tour! She lives in Germany, Hamburg and her use of white color in her home is gorgeous. Also the details Irina put together – oh my…Seems like everything there has a meaning and a memory which I think is great for a home – this is what is making a house to be a home! Take a look at the pictures, if you’d like to see more of them or read everything about how Irina decorated her home, check here:
Create your mood board on Olioboard
Wanted to share with you a new application I was introduced to last week. You know how I love inspiration boards, don’t you? I even have a folder with them on my desktop, as I think that’s such a creative activity and it’s not that easy as it may seem! Before, to make up an inspiration board, I was ransacking all the possible Internet sources to find the cushions I need, so their color and pattern match the curtains I already chose (just an example). Believe me, a lot of time is required to create an inspiring board! Last week I found out that my hard days of creating boards are done once the new application, Olioboard, was launched! It’s a new treasure for me, because the way Olioboard works is something I could only dream of. You create a board and to fill it you have over 10,000 items in the Olioboard item storage! Here are my mood boards, so far :)
Lovely meeting
The title says about my impressions after meeting the adorable Katarina from Like flowers and butterflies! As I said, it seemed we know each other for ages and we just couldn’t stop chatting! We spoke about all things blogging, how did she start creating the beautiful handmade things for children and for home, as well as her lovely children.
I look forward meeting Katarina again and I’m happy we did it today – it was so much fun! Thank you, Katarina! Here is a picture:

Stylist Kate Morris
Kate Morris is a photo & prop stylist, set designer and just a talented lady from England, making up beautiful designs for 20 years now. When I looked at Kate’s portfolio, I felt warmth and coziness coming from the pictures, they feel home-y, although with bits of glamour. However, the natural, earthy colors are giving a special charm to the designs and photography. Please take a look:
Small apartment in Sweden
I came across the apartment I’ll share with you now yesterday and you can’t imagine how impatient I was feeling to show it to you!!! It’s small, just 61 sq m, but oh, so comfortable and neat! It’s located in Sweden and it perfectly suites my tastes: it’s a white space, with pops of colors here and there, it’s very organized and feels so home-y and the bedroom is actually an attic room! I adore it and I hope you’ll enjoy the tour as well!
Serbian Made: Drangulije
Good morning everyone. How was your weekend? Mine was pretty nice (besides the sore throat which is killing me the last couple days!). But back to my post, today is Monday and I’m here to bring to your attention one more Serbian example of creativity! Please enter Biljana from Drangulije blog. Biljana is doing what I’ve never seen before: candles! Of course, besides candles Biljana is creating beautiful jewelry and the most beautiful handmade lamps ever, but the handmade candles are what caught my eye as they seem to be pure magic – with all those mixed colors and patterns! I want to share them with all of you, I definitely think Biljana’s work is one of a kind!
Happy Hot Weekend!
Hi, my lovelies! How are you doing? Is the weather the same crazy HOT where you are?! Here the sun is totally killer and what I’m dreaming of right now is a lake/river/sea/pool! Something where there is water to refresh a bit! Anyways, I’m wishing you a beautiful weekend and enjoy some time outside, we all deserved this! See you on Monday, dears!

Country Kitchen Inspiration
I almost forgot how beautiful country kitchens are! Thanks to House to home, I remembered the sweet details and colors you can put on when decorating a country styled kitchen! And actually hey, a country kitchen is a favorite of mine, perhaps even my dream kitchen, even more now, when I saw the beautiful inspiring pictures over at House to Home! I thought I should share with you the blissful images, so here they are:
Etsy: Vector Cloud
Vector Cloud shop is the featured Etsy seller these days. Amelia, the lady behind the shop lives in New York with husband and new born baby and likes to create things from wood. She’s cutting with the laser the wood making beautiful necklace pendants, earrings, brooches and more. Now let me tell how I stumbled upon Amelia’s work: some days ago, Emily from Sassy Smolak blogged about a wooden retro TV brooch, where you can change the picture and I thought ‘how cool is that!’. Today when I went to Etsy I saw Vector Cloud is the featured seller, so I checked the other items from the shop. Now I’ll share with you the things I liked the most!
