Happy Friday everyone! I have something seriously cute for you, so make sure you don’t get a cuteness overload. I bookmarked this Etsy shop long time ago, but how it usually happens it was just waiting patiently for me to bring it up. And oh my, so happy I came across it now! Please enter Sarah & Bendrix Etsy shop – a place which will make your heart dance after seeing other sweet hearts. London based Veronika, the lady behind the shop, is designing the most wonderful hearts I’ve seen in a while, framing them afterward and oh how beautiful are those hearts, I melted! They’re simple yet superb and I couldn’t help myself but show them to you! Enjoy!
P.S. Visit Veronika’s site, blog & Etsy shop, you won’t regret!

Scandinavian style is the one I’d go with in my home without looking back, it just feels so me. So when I saw this apartment I was amazed. And you might wonder why – at first the space isn’t something outstanding or extraordinary, but I felt how peaceful is that apartment. Somebody once said ‘comfort over style’ (the phrase is under copyright!) and this apartment is the perfect proof as it may be less stylish than I’d like it to be, but it’s definitely comfy and warm and after all, what else do we need for a home?

Hi everyone. You probably know that aside colors I have two more major, but REALLY major crushes: chairs & patterns, don’t you? Let’s talk about patterns right now as my affair with them is quite recent, but evolving pretty fast. Imperial Trellis is the pattern that got me hooked and was the start of my pattern love. Today it’s all about Greek key and I must admit I’m obsessed with it for the last couple of days. I don’t think I need to talk much about Greek key, you all know it well and I’m pretty sure you love it, but I do need to say something myself about it: nobility, godlike and divine – all about Greek key! And it has something mysterious and attracting, more like any other pattern and that’s why I love it.

Throughout a life time things change. We change, changes our style and interest, but one thing is what stays with us forever and these are memories which we try to keep alive as long as we live. To help ourselves in this, we take pictures, print and frame them, to hang them on the wall afterward and smile whenever we look at them. And this is great, but I got myself thinking that there are too many framed pictures in our lives, so it’s maybe time to bring a breathe of fresh air, don’t you think so? Maybe think of some other ways to personalize our homes?..Bingo! I did the ‘finding another ways’ for you, just because I love my sweet readers :). I should mention that I was inspired to write this post by the youngsters of Young house love as they shared their ways of transforming their memories in wall art.
So, here are the ideas of personalizing our homes:

Hey everyone! I must admit that I’ve been having my eyes on the beautiful color combination yellow & gray for quite a long time and still, never put together a color inspiration post featuring this combo. Small intro: Anna of In honor of design asked our opinion about a new header for her blog (we needed to choose one of three designs), the first design was created with yellow & gray colors and I was smitten by the simplicity and elegance of it! The muted shades of both these colors are such a well balanced mix, perfectly completing each other and creating the feeling of aesthetic charm and sense of style. Of course I voted for the first design Anna had to choose from, but I couldn’t stop thinking about this combination. So yesterday I browsed all the possible sites on the Internet and I found some gorgeous rooms (and not only) decorated with yellow & gray:

Not a secret that I’m more of a girl who loves small-dreamy-romantic-homes rather than big cottages with glamor everywhere, just like I love homes decorated with a washed-out white color which will evoke coziness and warm feelings. Well, recently I came across a Victorian tiny home that made my heart skip a beat, it made me happy and anxious all at once! It made me want to move in! Seriously, I say this always (that I want to move in the homes I feature on creamylife), but this time I want this so much, my heart hurts! Yes, it’s that bad. Take a look and you’ll understand:

I’m not feeling as in my best moments right now, so a dose of peaceful interiors and photography would be a perfect remedy. And thinking that the styling work of London based stylist Twig Hutchinson is what I need. I loved her gorgeous work, full of patterns and saturated colors, which at the same time feels so calming and warm. Twig’s work was published in magazines such as British Marie Claire, Homes & Gardens, Sunday time style and others and I want to share with you now a few pictures that smiled at me, but make sure you check the entire portfolio of Twig (such an unusual name!).

We all know the Keep Calm posters, don’t we? Available in lots of colors, they’re a great accessory in a home! But what we didn’t think about is that there are plenty of variations of the “Keep calm and carry on” which are quite funny and would also look great in a room! Some days ago, I came across one funny variation of “Keep calm and carry on” and was so curious to see what else I can find, so here I am now, bringing to you some funny quotes, hoping they’ll cheer you up a bit:
