It’s been a crazy week over here, so today I’ll make it fast and simple (it’s Thursday after all, which to me feels like not yet Friday, but definitely not Mon-Wed work mode). Anyway, here’s a reminder we should all frame and put on the fridge, I mean it! The words are so true and the quote is motivating (to be grateful and stop seeking perfection).
Last days of summer
I have to admit I’m being sad that summer days are almost over. I know the other day I was craving pastel colored homes, but today I’m back again at happy yellows, bright pinks and turquoise – I’m the person who can never have too much of this. Or summer, that’s why I’m a bit nostalgic today. Dear summer, it was amazing having you with us. Till we meet again – love, L. This is an homage to you, you rock!
Happy Hump day!

Indoor fauna
It’s always fun to spice up your home with attractive little pieces that might be inherited treasures, thrift finds or pretty home decor investments. That’s why I thought you’d like to see a post about how people bring fauna into their homes. There might be peacocks, elephants, horses, frogs etc., one thing is clear to me – the idea is brilliant!
Warm homes
Perhaps I’m anticipating the cool days that fall (and winter afterwards) has to offer to us, but I found myself today craving cozy, warm homes. And just perfect felt (I swear, I really had my heart skipping a beat at the idea of) an image of a soft beige room, without any bold hues or details, just the grandeur of a soothing space where it’s all about earthy, warm colors. These shots from the latest Lonny speak for themselves:
DIY: photo-wreath
I fell in love with the idea of making a photo wreath, such an easy DIY yet so heart-warming, a piece that will remind you of important people and events in your life, so I promise you’ll cherish it for a very long while. It’s impressive how often we’re reminded that life it’s all about small things.

Wishlist: wishbone chair
Isn’t the wishbone chair by Hans Wegner so amazing? The shape, the impact on the room – it’s all so catchy. What can look like a simple chair might transform your space into an epic design piece. I’m totally digging a wishbone chair (or even a replica), I know my home wouldn’t mind such a treat :)
Color+Inspiration: Black, white and gold
Happy Monday to all! Today I have a special post for you, sort of. It’s about my favourite color combination at the moment: black, white and golden. These three shades are so elegant individually taken, so the effect they have when combined is like a bomb, a stylish one to be more precise. All in all, a bit of a glamorous and sophisticated trio, but nonetheless it provides us with a very cozy feeling, which is at the same time not too simplistic. Are you in for it?
Happy weekend
Hello, dears! I’m here to wish you all a very happy weekend, relax and enjoy it as much as you can :). I have no plans for this weekend, perhaps finishing some things around the house, some cooking and lots of sleeping (yes, I can be boring sometimes). Speaking of sleeping, how cool is this bedroom? The colors are fantastic, right? What are your plans for this (for some of you long) weekend? Happy Labor Day to those who celebrate! xo
