The Swedish brand Mimou has a pretty fabulous slogan, don’t you think? Creativity rules is for daring people, for talented minds and innovative ideas – which is exactly the description of this brand. They have cushions, wallpapers, furniture, linens all being very fresh and appealing to our modern world. Take a look at a few highlights of mine:
My special day
Yep, you read it good – today is my birthday and I’m turning 25! The past year has been one of the most exciting and eventful year of them all. I know the next one will be even better and I can’t wait to share with you the reasons :). Thank you for being with me – it’s an honor to grow up in so many ways (life, blog he he) accompanied by such sweet readers! :)

Bright and colorful nursery
Happy Monday, sweets! I apologize for not posting last week, I needed some time to adjust to non-vacation days. I’m back now though, with more inspiration that will delight your eyes :). How have you been? Are you ready for spring (I so am!)?
Since we still have mostly gray days, some pop of color will cheer us all up, don’t you think? I stumbled upon this nursery in the last issue of La Petite magazine and couldn’t not share it with you – I had the moment (yet again) when I wished I lived in there, even though it’s a nursery :).
Lesley Unruh Photography
Hello, friends! So sorry for being absent these days, but just in case you’d like to know – my mini-vacation was fabulous and I wish it didn’t end so fast! What were you up to while I was away?
So since I’m just recovering from the few days of doing nothing today’s post is relaxing and pretty. And hopefully will bring a bit of light into our lives (is the weather the same awful where you are?). Anyways, Lesley Unruh caught my eye with her photography which is so eclectic and positive, with clean lines and playful patterns all spiced up with a bit of drama – how amazing does that sound? I couldn’t help but share with you a few favorites:
Off to the mountain
Friends, I’m here to let you know that I’m taking the rest of the week off and I’m headed to a mountain resort! It’s the much needed mini-vacation I’m looking very forward to so I’m wishing you all a very early weekend! Enjoy it! xo
Country living
Have you ever thought whether you’d be able to live a country life in a country cottage with a rusted iron bed, washed off cabinets and lots of romantic details like fresh flowers, a fireplace etc.? It sure sounds tempting and I believe I would like such a home for a winter getaway – I’m too urban-oriented to permanently live in such a home. It’s always inspiring to look at this though, very shabby chic meets rustic, right?
What do you say?
Traditional and comfy home
It’s been a long time since I’ve been so in love with a traditional home, but traditional to its core! In fact, I’m not sure I have ever truly loved traditionalism in a home, but I guess we all change, so this could be anticipated. Anyway, the home of a family of four never looked more comfortable, elegant and soothing at the same time. The elegant details give the feel of majestic, but livable without making the home feel like a museum (right up my alley). Oh, did I mention that certain rooms (like daughter’s room and a reading nook) do have a pop of color looking pretty modern. Impressive is how the designer Amy Morris managed to make it all together work perfectly – that’s real talent, guys! Take a look:
Fashion weekend: Mihano Momosa
With all this NYFW fever I thought a good idea would be to add my two cents on the topic, because even though I’m crazy about chic interiors, my heart melts at the sight of ruffled dresses, flirty skirts and romantic collections, even more when all this goodness is created by a Serbian designer! The brand Mihano Momosa is like a breath of fresh air in the Serbian fashion industry and it literally takes you to a whole new level when it comes to clothing – it’s that good. Mihano Momosa creations are a dream come true – a feminine and romantic touch in our modern world.
Pip Studio
As I mentioned in one my previous posts I’m obsessed with wallpapers lately. The more vintage, the better. Hence my excitement to stumble upon Pip Studio Amsterdam who have a great collection of wallpapers that are colorful, floral, with a slight vintage look (or so I felt when looking at them). Pip Studio is a Dutch company offering more than wallpapers, they have bedding, bathroom goodies, bags, stationery. It all looks delicious and I mean it! And about wallpapers: every single design would perfectly fit into a bedroom, bathroom or cozy office nook, so yes, if you decide to buy it, it will be a huge score – it’ll look good no matter the room you decide to use it in.
Please note, this is not a sponsored post! Everything said above is my opinion.
