I know this editorial shot for the latest issue of Rue won’t be a new thing for you, but it’s just too good to be skipped. I loved it, seriously – it’s the highlight of the entire issue, at least for me. The dreamy setting, the soft and natural color palette, the camel and the sophisticated glamour knocked me off. I couldn’t resist posting it here, I think it’s the perfect weekend inspiration! Have a good one, loves!
Soft salmon
To make sure we understood each other – it’s the color salmon I’m speaking of in this post. Don’t you just love the peach-y, coral-y and absolutely sexy nuance? To me it screams freshness, summer breeze and a very not-your-average feminine color. I’d love to know how do you feel about this color, as I’m pretty sure it will be around for some time, next to coral (that I’m dying for – you know that, right?). If you ask me what’s the new black, I know what I’m going to answer!
New week, new beginnings
Welcome to a new week, darlings! Today I decided to keep it simple, not many words – I’ll leave it all to feelings that are so much more important. My loves, be happy you’re embracing a new week, be grateful and don’t take life for granted, look at the bright side and remember that everything happens for a reason. P.S. Don’t miss the 6th issue of Rue today – I for one cannot wait!
Love affair with: PLUM color
Not sure what has gotten onto me these days, but I’m having a serious crush on plum color. Perhaps it’s because of its elegance and deep sexiness, one thing is clear – with a white background, a pop of plum looks gorgeous and very royal! I’m liking the idea of a Scandinavian inspired room where it’s all so clean and minimalist with a statement piece in a deep plum shade – sounds delicious, right?
Summer house with a Scandinavian twist
And here I am again asking myself what do Swedish and Danish people have that we all don’t? Is it something about the air or we’re simply meant to be different? You’re probably wondering why am I asking this, right? Well, have you seen better homes than those in Sweden and Denmark? Whether we’re speaking about interior designers or just people who like to decorate, they’re equally talented and the outcome (i.e. homes) is just stunning! I’ve been featuring lots of Scandinavian home tours here on the blog, so here is one more, a summer house to die for!
Color+inspiration: Peach and aqua
I fell head over knees for this color combination: peach and aqua! Seriously? My two favourite colors used together – this is a mix created in heaven and it means total perfection in my book! Besides aqua I also love how seafoam green looks with peach (or even orange), it’s such a refreshing and gentle duo! Here’s some inspiration, what do you think about the look of these two shades together?
Summer’s special
Hello, my loves! SO sorry I’ve been away the past week, my days were hectic leaving me with no energy for blogging. And perhaps I needed a little break, why not? I’m back now though, I hope you missed me?! Yesterday I spent my day by the pool (at a spa resort, actually, with many pools!) and it just made me think how special summer is for letting us enjoy moments like that, where there is only sun, water and magazines/books/drinks. Ah, bliss…
Did you have a nice weekend? I hope so :)

It’s that time of the year
Happy Monday, sweets! How are you and how was your weekend? I hope it was amazeballs :). You know what, I think I’m at THAT time of the year, again. You know, the moment when you’re too exhausted just for everything, when your city’s whirlwind seems unbearable, when the only thing you’re dreaming of is the beach, crystal clear water, summer breeze…Well, I was wondering when will the moment hit me and it did. Seeing everybody travelling to seaside these days is an awful feeling of “I can’t wait till I’m in their skin”. Sigh, in one month it will happen, meantime dear God, please give me strength.
“Summer lovin”
For today’s post I chose something breezy and relaxing – it’s Friday and it’s the perfect moment to set the mood for the weekend (which is just few hours away, yay!). It’s already July (really, where did June go?!), but I have to admit that I hadn’t tried yet that summer bliss in the form of late afternoons, patio drinks, picnics by the lake and lazy days on the beach – I feel terribly exhausted at the moment and all this sounds way more than just perfect. Have you gotten some of this summer-y deliciousness? Have you had a vacation yet? If so, where did you go, I want to know everything about it! :)
Happy weekend, loves!
