The similarity was too obvious to be ignored, so I had to share my finds. Granny chic crocheted blanket found its place in fashion industry in the form of a cozy dress, warm and so much fun! I’ve seen the blanket itself long time ago, so a this-and-that moment hit me the second I saw the dress, looks like the crocheted bliss works in fashion just as good as it does in decorating :)
All about glitter
Have you seen the Glitter Guide? Launched earlier this week, this lifestyle site (founded by the lovely Taylor) is filled with (just as its title says) glitter, glamour and gorgeous posts. If you haven’t checked it yet, do it – get your “daily dose of glitter”! Congrats to Taylor and the team!
Color+Inspiration: Magenta
Ok, this must be a color+inspiration week. Not sure what has gotten onto me, but today I’m blown away by another color – magenta! I know some people call it fuchsia, others even pink, but I’m all for calling it this sophisticated name (it’s also cool and stylish, right?). Here’s my color+inspiration post for this sunny and hot Friday! Enjoy!
Pinteresting post
Have I ever mentioned how addicted I am to Pinterest? If not, this post will say it all. I’m browsing over there for hours and hours every day and still can’t get enough of all that inspiration, stunning pictures I’d never come across otherwise and all the inspiring pinners – it’s always nice to see what fellow bloggers and friends like in real life (again, things I’d never find out if it wouldn’t be for Pinterest). The best of it is that it doesn’t matter what style you think suits you better – you can pin everything and create a VERY inspiring artful mess. Yes, it’s that good. I’m happy to be on Pinterest from the very beginning, seriously, these days I can’t imagine my life without it. You must try it, if you didn’t (which is highly unlikely). I have pinboards for fashion, interiors, food and much more – it’s unbelievable how much I cherish my pinteresting place :)
Serbian Made: Iva Boskovic
It’s been awhile since the last Serbian Made post, but I have an amazing one today, a perfect mood setter for this week! Oh, happy Monday all! I know locals have already been introduced to Iva Boskovic and her utterly stylish t-shirts, but just in case you missed it, I have this post for you, after all you can never have too much inspiring talent, right? Ok, back to Iva – she’s young, creative and her shirts are definitely a must-have this season as they’re perfect for ANY occasion, from parties to casual walks to office style – I mean it’s always nice to have an outfit with a twist and Iva’s tees are the twist you need! I’m digging all the designs, take a look and covet with me :)

Bohemian Charm
Today I found myself dreaming about bold colors, florals and geometric patterns. On a dreary day like today that can be the only thing to save me, you know? I’m really looking forward to spring and summer, when I’ll finally be able to pull out all my colorful dresses and colorful accessories. Ah dreams! But we’re almost there, so hold on a little more, that is if you’re like me. These pictures where fashion inspires interior design (or vice-versa, why not) are the perfect image of how I would like my life to be, at least for one day. Bohemian and charming – when freedom is all you have and the sky is your limit :).
Color+Inspiration: Pink+Orange
Perhaps it’s the anticipation of spring or Valentine’s day which happens to be today (see my post dedicated to it here), but I’m really attracted by bold, bright and so passionate hues such as orange and pink, particularly about this combo. The vibrant color combination shouts modern and daring and while I thik it might be too much for a living room, it certainly looks amazing in a girl’s room, kitchen or seen in smaller details such as rugs, bedding, curtains so on. Oh not to mention that pink+orange left its marks in fashion too! Various designers have their spring/summer collections around this combo and it totally looks chic!
Emerson Made clothing line
I know I already blogged about the genius couple behind Emerson Made. Back in April I wrote about their hand stitched flower pins, clutches and all that prettiness. Things have changed, Emerson Made is all grown-up now with their own clothing line! Hello! Does it ever happen to you that you want ABSOLUTELY everything from a shop? (I know it does!). Well, you’re right, I found my dream shop, where everything fits me like a glove, the colors and styles suit my personality just perfect and more and more like this! I’m in love, people! Please someone buy me everything Emerson Made branded! I’ll make you, um, pancakes? :)
Enchanting glow {and happy weekend}
Hello, my loves! Merry Christmas to all my readers from Serbia and nearby countries (yes, we celebrate Christmas today!). How was your week? Although I have an extra day off today, it’s definitely not work-free=stress-free, I’m very nervous due to certain events in my life and commitments I signed up for, without even knowing what did I get myself into :). I’m just kidding, exciting things are happening in my life right now and I’m very thrilled. If only the weather would work for me, I’m SO dreaming about warm and sunny days, you can’t imagine! These shots for Brides Magazine are right up my alley and are exactly what I want now!
Exciting Announcement!!!
Hello, friends! How have you been? It’s Thursday and I’m so happy to be so close to the weekend! This week has been hectic over here, I’ve been working on a new project the idea of which came to my mind long time ago, I was so excited about it that I wanted to accomplish it as soon as possible!
So ladies and gents, please meet my new ‘baby’:
Yay, so excited! I founded The Sartorialist for Belgrade, sort of :). It’s unbelievable how many people are lusting after a street style site here yet nobody seems to have time to just do it. Well, I’m the one – Belgrade street style is on its way! I was waiting for a new camera to start this site and since my awesome husband bought it for me a few days ago, we immediately started working on the site (which will be up very soon!), business cards are ready to be printed and I’m already on the hunt for stylish people on the street to shoot them :).
I must say a huge ‘thank you’ to my husband for his immense support and help, I wouldn’t be able to do this without him! I love you, my darling!
While the site is still under construction, feel free to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter, for even more eye-candy, fresh ideas and outfits!
Don’t be worried, friends, creamylife will still be updated every day, so no changes here :)
