Color+inspiration: Peach and aqua

I fell head over knees for this color combination: peach and aqua! Seriously? My two favourite colors used together – this is a mix created in heaven and it means total perfection in my book! Besides aqua I also love how seafoam green looks with peach (or even orange), it’s such a refreshing and gentle duo! Here’s some inspiration, what do you think about the look of these two shades together?

Summer’s special

Hello, my loves! SO sorry I’ve been away the past week, my days were hectic leaving me with no energy for blogging. And perhaps I needed a little break, why not? I’m back now though, I hope you missed me?! Yesterday I spent my day by the pool (at a spa resort, actually, with many pools!) and it just made me think how special summer is for letting us enjoy moments like that, where there is only sun, water and magazines/books/drinks. Ah, bliss…

Did you have a nice weekend? I hope so :)

It’s that time of the year

Happy Monday, sweets! How are you and how was your weekend? I hope it was amazeballs :). You know what, I think I’m at THAT time of the year, again. You know, the moment when you’re too exhausted just for everything, when your city’s whirlwind seems unbearable, when the only thing you’re dreaming of is the beach, crystal clear water, summer breeze…Well, I was wondering when will the moment hit me and it did. Seeing everybody travelling to seaside these days is an awful feeling of “I can’t wait till I’m in their skin”. Sigh, in one month it will happen, meantime dear God, please give me strength.

“Summer lovin”

For today’s post I chose something breezy and relaxing – it’s Friday and it’s the perfect moment to set the mood for the weekend (which is just few hours away, yay!). It’s already July (really, where did June go?!), but I have to admit that I hadn’t tried yet that summer bliss in the form of late afternoons, patio drinks, picnics by the lake and lazy days on the beach – I feel terribly exhausted at the moment and all this sounds way more than just perfect. Have you gotten some of this summer-y deliciousness? Have you had a vacation yet? If so, where did you go, I want to know everything about it! :)

Happy weekend, loves!

Fashion to interior: Crocheted bliss

The similarity was too obvious to be ignored, so I had to share my finds. Granny chic crocheted blanket found its place in fashion industry in the form of a cozy dress, warm and so much fun! I’ve seen the blanket itself long time ago, so a this-and-that moment hit me the second I saw the dress, looks like the crocheted bliss works in fashion just as good as it does in decorating :)

Dessert table: Tiffany blue+zebra

I know I normally don’t post party ideas and entertaining tips, but that doesn’t mean this isn’t inspiring me or has me swooning. So now, to show how wide my interests are I decided to share with you a dessert table created around a stunning colour – Tiffany blue (my color inspiration post you can see here) and a fabulous, bold pattern – zebra! Can you imagine the combo? Gentle and daring, airy and sophisticated – the uncombinable turned out to be a gorgeous colour theme, perfect for a baby shower, bridal shower or just a birthday party!

Symmetry

There is something so neat about symmetry in interior design. Clean look, balance when it comes to details – this just screams modern and look-but-don’t-touch kind of feeling. While I do love a bit crazier and artsy style for a room, sometimes symmetry feels just right, it’s like helping to keep everything under control in life, you know what I mean? Hoping you did understand me, here’s a picture that just stood out to me exactly because of the proportionality in art, colors, details.

Another thing I love about this living room is the rug, I find the pattern one of the prettiest and those colours complement it just perfectly!

What about you? Are you a fan of symmetry or not really?

Weekend inspiration

Happy weekend, darlings! This weekend I’m going to be inspired by bold hues and this picture is pretty much what I’m talking about: hot fuchsia, olive (and a hit of apple) green and red – looks to me like a very lovely combo, no?

Happy 4th of July to all my friends who celebrate (still remembering last year’s color inspiration post dedicated to this holiday – oldie, but goodie!). See you next week! xo

Ah, the busy days

Dropping by to say a big hello to all of my favorite creamylifers :). Things are busy, not much time for blogging which makes it for missing you even more! How are you? Are you enjoying summer? It’s a bit gray and rainy here the past few days, so soak up some sunshine for me as well, would you? Love to all! xo
