Think Pink

Being a girly girl (yes, I am!) I love pink! So the home I came across over at Jen’s blog made my heart skip a beat. It’s decorated in ALL hot pink, with some white and it seems just the place of my dreams. But no, I definitely wouldn’t use that much pink for my home, as much as I love the color. Does this make me less girly? Hm…However, I wanted to show this home to you and ask if you’d dare to paint your home in this hot pink? Married ladies, I’d like to see your opinions as well :).

Twitter offices

I want to share with now a glimpse of the re-designed Twitter offices. I felt so excited to see how does that place look like, because I’ve been using Twitter a lot lately, so knowing I can sneak a peek at the offices of the people who are making all our tweets work  sounded very attractive! It was like I took a look into Twitter‘s home and you know I love home tours :). Oh, I need to mention that the designer is Sara Morishige Williams and she definitely did a great job! For more pictures check here & here.

The Butterfly Chair

I’m sure you noticed the tendency of bringing to design trend world old pieces whether it’s about furniture, clothing or accessories. We usually say that new is the well-known old. So this is what happened to the butterfly chair. I’ve been thinking to write about it awhile now, so today finally I decided to see what is with this chair and why did it return to the world of design. About the past of the butterfly chair: it was designed by the Argentinian architect Jorge Ferrari Hardoy, together with Antonio Bonet and Juan Kurchan in 1938-1939 while working in Buenos Aires for Grupo Austral. This chair is also known as BKF chair (after its designers’ last names). Nowadays, the butterfly chair kept the design though it’s available in leather of different colors or cow hide. It works great for any indoor room, as well as outdoor area. Here are some inspiring pictures:

Ashe+Leandro Interiors

Ashe+Leandro is a New York based interior design firm, having an eclectic, modern style which I’m sure is directed toward showing the owner’s personality! So throughout their years of experience, they designed spaces in a colorful way as well as  more conservative ones, some of them are somber and crispy, while there are another ones very relaxed and serene. I guess that’s the image of a talented designer – flexibility in creating the spaces their clients need. Their portfolio is very inspiring, you should check it out! You can find Ashe+Leandro’s work on their site or blog.

Stylist Saša Antic

I came across the work of Stockholm based prop & set design stylist Saša Antic a while ago and just now I got to check on her portfolio and be amazed by the beautiful designs Saša is creating. A perfect balance of white crispy floors & colorful accessories are the best proof of the huge talent and sense of style Saša has. The spaces feel so real, it’s like the owners are just somewhere in the kitchen preparing a tasty tea to celebrate the beauty of their home. Not only the designs make for comfy homes, they’re just as trendy as you may imagine. And I think that’s really impressive (well, it was always impressive to me) when a stylist is able to put together in a home stylish, modern details and cozy touches. Take a look:

Stylist Aaron Hom

Good morning everyone! Although I said I’ll stop featuring so many artists, I couldn’t help it now, I’ll do it once again! The post is about the irresistible stylist Aaron Hom. You may recognize his work from the magazine House Beautiful. I’m really loving his style, it’s so neat, not too crowded and not minimalist though. It’s the right balance of colors, accessories and patterns in order to create relaxing and oh, so inspiring designs.
