We see more and more of tribal in the blogosphere these days, so I thought I’d add my two cents – I’m hooked. I’m in love with the colors, patterns and I sure like how tribal is used in fashion – gorgeousness all around. But let’s not forget about tribal chicness as seen in interior design – it definitely adds a fresh twist to a space! Whether it’s a cushion, bedspread or wall art – your most exotic dreams become reality in an instant and who doesn’t love that?
Mixing patterns
That’s my new crush actually. Why not to decorate a room with tons of patterns, mixing and matching them? Too daring? Maybe, but also remember that if somebody did it, you can do it too! It depends on your style, taste and personality whether you like a more traditional looking home or you’re not afraid of colors & patterns. Here’s what I think: I would definitely try mixing patterns in my home, seriously! Of course it needs to be done wisely (and knowing there is always a limit!) and then you’ll have as a result a stylish, modern home! Here are some examples:
Casa Enterijeri
I’ve seen lots of wallpaper patterns in blogland lately and I totally loved them! So I thought I should check it out to see what do Serbian stores have for us. And I had a shop bookmarked for some time, Casa Enterijeri, with so beautiful wallpapers and curtains! I melted! I needed to show them to you (after all this is an useful thing for me too, I’m sure one day I’ll need wallpaper inspiration!). So here are few of the wallpapers they have (don’t forget to check the curtains, they’re stunning!).
The Zigzags
Happy (almost end of the) weekend, friends! Did something fabulous happen to you during these 2 short, but oh so lovely days? It happened to me, I realized I’m loving patterns! Lots of different patterns that make a space look so special and unique. And my love today goes to zigzag pattern as it’s the most friendly of all and suits perfectly absolutely everything in a room. Here are the examples (disguised in pictures, hee hee):
